Stephen Merriott, senior at Francis Howell North (FHN) High School, was recognized as the honorary student representative at the May 16 Board of Education meeting. At the beginning of the meeting Stephen was presented with the Superintendent’s Certificate from Dr. Pam Sloan.

Francis Howell Central (FHC) High School, Francis Howell High School (FHHS), and Francis Howell North (FHN) High School have earned “Leadership School” Distinction by the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) for the 2012-2013 school year. By obtaining this distinction, it demonstrates that all FHSD high schools truly believe in and emphasize sportsmanship, citizenship, leadership and respect in its activities programs.
Becky-David Elementary, Central Elementary, Daniel Boone Elementary, Henderson Elementary, Warren Elementary, Hollenbeck Middle School and Saeger Middle School have been recognized and will be honored for successfully adopting and implementing Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support (SW-PBS), a comprehensive approach for improving student behavior and academic performance. The recognition ceremony will take place Wednesday June 12, 2013, at the Missouri SW-PBS Recognition Ceremony in conjunction with the 8th Annual Missouri SW-PBS Summer Training Institute at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Francis Howell High School (FHHS) has been recognized by Newsweek as one of the best high schools in the country. Newsweek determined the best 2,000 public high schools in the nation that have proven to be the most effective in preparing students for college. FHHS is ranked seventh among 23 Missouri high schools named to the list.
