During the week of January 22-28, the Francis Howell School District will join communities across the state honoring the dedicated service of local boards of education during School Board Recognition Week, as declared by Governor Jay Nixon.
Independence Elementary first grader, Abbie Raga and her brother, Kindergartner Andrew Raga, were recognized and presented with the Superintendent’s Certificate at the January 19, 2012 Board of Education meeting for demonstrating incredible responsibility during an intense situation that occurred over the holiday break.
Samantha Melton, senior at Francis Howell High School (FHHS), was recognized as the honorary student representative at the January 19 Board of Education meeting. At the beginning of the meeting Samantha was presented with the Superintendent’s Certificate from Dr. Pam Sloan.
