It is time, once again, to begin the revision process for the Student Code of Conduct (COC) booklets. We need input from our parents and staff regarding any suggested changes to the Code.
The Francis Howell School District joins schools and districts across the country in celebrating National School Counseling Week 2012, “School Counselors: Helping Students Be Brilliant,” from Feb. 6–10, 2012.
The Francis Howell School District will be hosting four upcoming events for parents of gifted children.
The Francis Howell High School (FHHS) Varsity Golden Girls Dance Team earned first place in the Hip Hop and third in Jazz categories (only 1.7 points from 1st) at the Chicagoland Dance Championship, which took place Saturday, January 21 in downtown Chicago, Illinois. The Golden Girls have attended the competition every January since 2009 and have always received second and third place rankings. The team was very excited to finally take home the first place ranking in their division.
Zach Rhodes, senior at Francis Howell North (FHN) High School, was recognized as the honorary student representative at the February 2 Board of Education meeting.

Francis Howell High School (FHHS) hosted the Inaugural College Signing Day Celebration and Reception Wednesday, February 1, 2012 to honor students who have recently been accepted and have committed to participate in collegiate athletics post-graduation. The celebration began at 7:20 a.m. and took place in the FHHS commons.
As part of the district’s Strategic Plan, a task force is being launched to develop a plan to integrate 21st century skills across our district.
