Veteran educator named interim principal at Hollenbeck Middle School

Dr. Allison Klouse 
has been named Interim Principal at Hollenbeck Middle School for the 2022-2023 school year. She will fill a vacancy left by Hollenbeck’s current principal, Dr. Woody Borgschulte, who announced his retirement last month.

Klouse has spent the past 26 years in public education as a middle school teacher and principal. She has worked at several area school districts, including Fort Zumwalt, Hazelwood and most recently, Rockwood School District.

“I am honored and humbled to join the Hollenbeck family for the 2022-2023 school year and look forward to getting to know each of you during the upcoming weeks and months,” said Klouse.

Klouse says she has always been passionate about serving others and especially advocating for those without a voice. 

“My life's goal is to continue doing right by those that I serve and I am excited about the opportunity to come out of retirement to support this transitional period in the upcoming school year,” Klouse said. “Please know that I will do my absolute best to care for our community and I thank you for your trust and support.”

Klouse earned a doctorate degree from Saint Louis University, a master’s degree from Lindenwood, and a doctorate and specialist degree in leadership from Saint Louis University.
