Parenting in a Digital World
This presentation provides a review of the current apps kids and teens
are utilizing on a daily basis and how to identify these apps when
monitoring their activity, including "vault apps". Investigators will
also provide attendees with the current trends in social media, sexting
and cyber-bullying and strategies to help them get through this forever
challenging chapter in life.

Importance of Sleep in Elementary Children
Studies have shown that poor sleep can cause attention, learning, and behavioral problems. Pediatric sleep disorders are often unrecognized by parents, but they can be treated and for many children can result in life changing improvements. Join Dr. H. First Impact: Preparing New Drivers for the Road Ahead
If you have a teenager starting to drive soon, you have a chance to learn about how to help overcome the risks teen drivers face. The goal of First Impact is to reduce new driver crashes, resulting injuries and fatalities, by increasing parental awareness and enforcement of Missouri’s Graduated Driver License law.
