FHSD Welcomes New Administrators

During the May Board of Education meeting, the Board approved the hiring of four new administrators effective July 1, 2020.

Dr. Jessie Altman has been selected as the District’s new director of adult learning. Dr. Altman currently serves as an assistant principal at Francis Howell High School and will replace Dr. Connie Buckman, who was selected as the District’s new chief academic officer.

Elizabeth Malloy will serve as the new assistant principal at Henderson Elementary School. Malloy currently serves as the administrative intern at Independence Elementary School and has been with the District for 13 years.

Dr. Bart Denbow, recently hired as the dean of students at Francis Howell Central High School, will now serve as an assistant principal, filling the position vacated by the recent retirement of Dave Stofer. Denbow has served as an assistant principal at Sullivan High School in Sullivan, MO, since 2014.

Sonya Borders has been selected as the new dean of students at Francis Howell Central High School, replacing Dr. Denbow. Borders is currently an English teacher in the Wentzville School District.
