To help promote learning during the summer months, the Francis Howell School District hosted App Camp, where middle school students learn to create and market a mobile app. This is the third year for the camp, and students had the unique opportunity to construct a storyboard for their application idea, use programming languages to develop their app, and also create a marketing plan for their app.  Read more about FHSD Hosts App Camp

“Transition Day” in the Francis Howell School District is an opportunity for incoming sixth and ninth graders to familiarize themselves with their new school. New Activity Fees and Changes to High School Activity Transportation

The FHSD Board of Education has approved the recommendation of the Extracurricular Task Force to establish an activity fee structure for the 2017-18 school year. Students participating in a sport, activity, or club in which a sponsor or coach is paid a stipend will be required to pay a yearly activity fee. Students will be assessed one fee regardless of how many sports/activities/clubs they participate in during the school year. FHSD Hosted St. Charles County’s First AP Prep Camp in June

It’s part of the mission of the Francis Howell School District (FHSD) – prepare students today for success tomorrow. One of the greatest ways to prepare a student for college is to give them a taste of what a college course is like, and the best way to do that, is to have them take an Advanced Placement (AP) course. FHHS Grad Erin Hediger is an Inspiration

To be an inspiration, one must first be inspired. The story of Francis Howell High School (FHHS) graduate Erin Hediger could be that inspiration. Hediger is a Biology/Pre-Physician major at the University of Missouri-Columbia, which sounds like a daunting task. Hediger, however, has conquered a more formidable challenge – she beat cancer. And if you ask her, her triumph was made possible because of the Francis Howell School District community coming together. Hediger was recently selected as a scholarship recipient by the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults’ Scholarship Program.  Read more about FHHS Grad Erin Hediger is an Inspiration

The Francis Howell School District (FHSD) recently announced the addition of Dr. Callista Kostine as the new administrative intern at Fairmount Elementary School.
