Free COVID-19 Testing at FHSD

The rapid COVID-19 testing is for FHSD employees and students by appointment only who are currently experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19. The District can only provide one test per individual, but an additional test can be administered if there are extenuating circumstances with prior approval. An Extraordinary Boy from Missouri

Chris Bini, a seventh grader at Francis Howell Middle School, is known for his love of baseball, his knowledge of Star Wars, and his unstoppable courage. In May of 2018, Bini was diagnosed with stage 3 acute lymphoblastic lymphoma. While just a fifth grader at John Weldon Elementary at the time, Bini began a courageous fight that would inspire his classmates, teachers, and eventually hundreds of people across the world.  Read more about An Extraordinary Boy from Missouri

Last summer, voters overwhelmingly approved Proposition S, a bond issue that addresses critical infrastructure needs across the District. Twelve FHSD teachers found themselves on the receiving end of a new initiative of the Cottleville Firefighters Outreach (CFO). Ms. Lexi Theis, teacher of the visually impaired at John Weldon Elementary School, knew at a young age she wanted to teach.
