Clockwork entertains and educates students at Warren and Henderson Elementary

They are one of the biggest names in the St. Louis music scene. They opened for one of the biggest shows in the Metro Area this year. And they are products of the Francis Howell School District (FHSD). Clockwork is taking the music charts by storm, getting airplay all over the country. The Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) seeks to preserve the long-term ideals set forth by the founders of the United States of America, such as freedom, patriotism, and the value of citizenship. One of the ways to maintain and extend those values is to remind the younger generations what those values are. A student from Warren Elementary, in the Francis Howell School District (FHSD), Allie Raines, showed how she doesn’t take these ideals for granted by winning the local and state levels of the SAR Americanism Poster Contest.  READ MORE...
Barnwell Yearbook Staffers

One of the main focuses of any teacher is to make students think. Encouraging them to use their creativity and imagination to solve problems, or to just make common things better, is important to every teacher. Students at Barnwell Elementary, part of the Francis Howell School District (FHSD), used their creativity to make something better at their school – something they’ll always be able to remember. Their yearbook cover, and its theme of “Be a Hero,” was chosen to be included in a new book called Ideas that Fly.  READ MORE...
