Sandeep Bhangu, senior at Francis Howell High School (FHHS), was recognized as the honorary student representative at the September 20 Board of Education meeting. At the beginning of the meeting Sandeep was presented with the Superintendent’s Certificate from Dr. Pam Sloan.
Sandeep is the daughter of Comaljeet Kamaljit and Kuldip Bhangu. Sandeep is an outstanding student who exemplifies the best in Viking students. She has earned the President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence during her educational career in the Francis Howell School District. She currently holds a 4.48 grade point average and has taken a variety of challenging courses including Advanced Placement (AP) Art, English, Government, honors Spanish, and has earned college equivalency score in the AP exams taken to date.
With a keen interest in business, Sandeep has taken courses in marketing, business enterprise, and desktop publishing. She recently put her business and marketing expertise to good use as President of Student Council. She is also involved in National Honor Society, ninth grade mentoring, business club, and school spirit raising activities.
Beyond her school involvement Sandy Candy, as known to her friends, classmates and teachers is described as a funny, bubbly, energetic leader who works hard to ensure everyone achieves success.
Sandeep aspires to pursue a career in dermatology and enhanced her skills at the 2012 Missouri Mini Medical School last summer.
