Video games are now a Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) sponsored activity. Francis Howell High School, following in the footsteps of Francis Howell Central High School, started their own eSports group – and it’s thriving.

 | Mask Guidelines Update Posted on 08/20/2020 At FHSD, we are regularly monitoring the COVID situation and have made a commitment to update our guidelines and processes as new information comes forward. Earlier this week, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), and the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) updated their recommendations related to students wearing masks or face coverings.

 | Canvas Learning Management System – Secondary Level Posted on 07/29/2020 The Francis Howell School District will be utilizing Canvas as our middle and high schools’ online learning management system (LMS). Identified as a priority by internal and external stakeholders as part the District’s strategic planning initiative, teachers will use Canvas as an online learning platform for blended and online teaching and learning. Canvas is scheduled to roll out at the elementary school level in August 2022.
