Community EdThe Francis Howell School District launched a Community Education Program with the purpose of enriching the lives of FHSD citizens by providing quality, affordable educational opportunities and activities for the adults in our community.

The Community Education Program is paid for by participant registration fees.

What's in Your Cupboard? Cooking Class - CANCELLED

The Francis Howell School District cooking class, What’s in Your Cupboard?, will teach you how to make a week's (5 days) worth of meals from weekend leftovers. Participants must be 14+ years.

Spanish 101
Sept. 26/ Oct. 3, 10, 24, 31/ Nov. 7, 14, 21, 28/ Dec. 12
6:30 - 7:30 PM
$42.50 per participant

Spanish 101 will go over the basics of the Spanish language, but focus on basic conversation and communication. Particular emphasis will be on the language skills of writing, reading, listening, and speaking. Participants must be 14+ years.

Basic Genealogy
Sept. 13, 20, 27/ Oct. 11
6:00 - 8:30 PM
$40 per participant

Want to know more about your family's history, but don’t know where to begin? The Francis Howell School District Community Education Program’s Basic Genealogy class will start with the basics of where to look and how to organize records that will make the journey easier and a lot more fun. And if you've been working on your genealogy and hitting some brick walls, this short course will help you break down those walls. Don't wait till it’s too late, as it’s never too soon to start! Participants must be 14+ years.
